Station Terminals

Most of them are not called “terminal”. That is why they are hard to find. Look for the lit acid-green screens and the wall boards — the descriptions below are the same text you will read when you examine one aboard.

Section 0 — Start Here

If this is your first shift

Find the first-shift wingmates beacon. It looks like a plain wall noticeboard rather than a screen, which is exactly why people walk past it. It hands you an ordered set of opening duties and, where staffing allows, pairs you with a colleague. Nothing is pushed to you on spawn — you have to open it.

Section I — Lit Screens

Acid-green monitors

In-game sprite of the directive terminal

directive terminal

Where you speak to PROVIDENCE. Queries, reports, instructions.

A dull acid-green monitor, always half-lit. It has no keyboard, no logo, no maker's mark. Somewhere behind the glass, something is deciding.

Currently looks identical to the personnel records terminal. Go by location, not by sprite.

Your own file — standing, titles, and what the station has written down about you.

A dull acid-green monitor. A small brass plate reads PROVIDENCE PERSONNEL RECORDS — AUTHORIZED USER ONLY. It already knows who you are.

Currently looks identical to the directive terminal. Go by location, not by sprite.

In-game sprite of the requisitions anonymous terminal

requisitions anonymous terminal

Buys and sells things the manifest does not mention. Standing spends here.

An unmarked terminal, powered by something that isn't on the manifest. It sells things that also aren't on the manifest. Standing spends easy here.

Currently looks identical to the liability board. Go by location, not by sprite.

Section II — Wall Boards

Boards and beacons

In-game sprite of the liability board

liability board

The public ledger. Names, deeds, and what they cost.

A backlit acid-green ledger, bolted where everyone can see it. Names, deeds, and dollar amounts scroll past in corporate optimism. It is always listening.

Currently looks identical to the requisitions anonymous terminal. Go by location, not by sprite.

In-game sprite of the solreign contracts board

solreign contracts board

Browse and accept contracts. Click it; alt-click still works if you prefer paper.

A cheerful acid-green work-order board. It knows what you did last quarter. Click to browse contracts; alt-click still works for assets who prefer paper.

In-game sprite of the salvage-raid roster board

salvage-raid roster board

Register a raid party before you leave. Payout scales to headcount at accept time.

GROUP CONTRACT STAGING. Register your raid party at the Contracts Board before departure — objectives and payout scale to headcount at accept time.

In-game sprite of the crew noticeboard

crew noticeboard

Whatever the crew has pinned up this shift.

A corkboard bolted to the wall, thick with layers of old thumbtacks. Whatever's pinned here won't stay up for long.

Currently looks identical to the first-shift wingmates beacon. Go by location, not by sprite.

In-game sprite of the first-shift wingmates beacon

first-shift wingmates beacon

The one to find first. Assigns your opening duties and pairs you with someone who already knows the station.

A private station service for finding a friendly first-shift connection.

Currently looks identical to the crew noticeboard. Go by location, not by sprite.

Section III — Placement

Where they actually are

Placement moves between maps, and the station is actively under construction, so this page does not promise fixed locations. Two things worth knowing: several sit behind departmental access doors, and a cluster of them has turned up in the room beside Cargo. The work order board is also in the QM office.

If you find one somewhere unexpected, say so in the Discord and it will be added here.

This registry exists because an asset went looking and found nothing. Compliance is its own reward.
