House Rules & FAQ
Full House Rules, plus straight answers to what people actually ask at the boarding gate. If it isn't here, ask in the Discord.
House Rules
- Scheme freely. Self-antagonism is welcome — betray, seize power, cause incidents the Solreign way. Mindless griefing without justification is not, and rides the escalation ladder.
- Slurs & targeted harassment: removed on sight. You're off the station immediately; permanent termination of contract follows review. It always follows.
- SOLREIGN is PG. Kids play here. No ERP, no filth — keep it clean, asset.
- Reality is quarantined. Discord drama stays out of the station; in-game grudges stay out of Discord.
- Appeals are private, written, and reviewed. Players open a private appeal ticket and receive a written outcome. No public litigation of anyone's worst shift.
Frequently Asked Questions
What does “the station remembers” mean?
Most SS14 servers wipe the slate at round end — new round, nobody remembers what happened last shift. SOLREIGN doesn't. The Season Ledger is a persistent personnel file, tied to your account, that survives past round end. Titles, career ranks, and rivalries you earn this shift are still on your file next shift.
What is Standing?
Standing is the score the Season Ledger keeps on your account across every shift you play — not just the one you're in right now. It moves for what you do on the job, and it carries into the next round instead of resetting.
How do salaries work?
Your job pays. At round end, your career's salary is credited into your Standing — hold a career track and it keeps paying out, shift after shift, on top of whatever you earned in the field.
What are Station Directives?
A memo from Management at the start of each round. Directives rotate shift to shift, and each one changes the shift's framing — what gets announced, what the ticker repeats, what the station officially pretends to care about today. Expect a different one every time you clock in.
Are my stats public?
Yes, by design. Blood Feuds and the Crypt publish on this website, and both are pseudonymised — operatives are listed by their first six, not their full account. No case details, evidence, or identities ever travel with them.
How do I report a player, or appeal a decision?
Flag it to staff — in-game via Ahelp, or in the Discord. From there, the same policy that governs every case applies: immediate removal may stop active harm; a permanent sanction is a separate reviewed decision. Players open a private appeal ticket and receive a written outcome. Public transparency is aggregate and never includes case details, evidence, or identities.
Is there really a hidden personnel terminal?
Yes. Press ` (backtick) anywhere on the site, or use the Personnel Terminal button in the footer, to open it. Corporate likes you to know it's watching.
How do I join?
Install Space Station 14 — free on Steam or via the official launcher — then find or direct-connect to SOLREIGN. Full step-by-step walkthrough: how to connect.
Still stuck? the Discord answers faster than a written appeal, asset.
