Each dossier below is drawn straight from the company's own personnel files — the role's duties, the chain of command above it, and the clearance stamped onto the ID. Which of these actually open on a given shift depends on the station and the roster; the company reserves the right to staff as it sees fit.
The Smuggler
PSN-SMGLogistics — Off the Books
Solreign does not officially employ smugglers. Solreign does, however, issue one a survival kit, a company PDA, and a hidden stash sewn into the standard-issue pack — then post them to Cargo with keys to the external airlocks and no further questions asked. On paper, a logistics asset. In practice, whatever the manifest is not looking at.

- The only posting that arrives with a compartment the manifest does not list.
Standing NoteKit includes a concealed stash. The company considers this a feature and declines to elaborate.
The Salvage Specialist
PSN-SALLogistics — Cargo
Operates the salvage magnet, dragging loose scrap and whole asteroids into range to be stripped and turned to the company's enrichment. The ambitious don't stop at the magnet: they assemble a salvage ship and push out to unmapped planets — and past whatever space fauna objects to being salvaged along the way.

- The station's licensed way off the station.
Standing NoteRequires roughly two and a half hours logged in Cargo. The void does not hire the unproven.
The Musician
PSN-MUSService — Morale Asset
Issued to the crew as a certified morale asset. Entertains the station with instruments of their choosing, is encouraged to acquire more to mess around with, and is granted the Theatre to do it in. Solreign files the role, without irony, under keeping spirits company-approved.

- The rare posting whose entire job description is: be worth listening to.
Standing NotePerformance is a contractual contribution to workplace morale. Applause is not compensation.
The Wingmate
PSN-WNGCivilian — First-Shift Onboarding
A pairing role built entirely around a first shift. A newcomer requests a guide; an experienced hand volunteers as their Wingmate, and the two share a private radio channel to learn the ropes together. Both wear the Passenger title. A charter governs the rest: teach without taking over, ask before spoilers, keep it in-game, and respect a decline or a silence the instant it comes.

- The station's answer to being new here — someone whose actual assignment is you.
Standing NoteEither side can end the pairing at any time, without giving a reason. That is written into the charter, not left to manners.
The Greenshield Officer
PSN-GRNCommand — Executive Protection
Station leadership is an appreciating asset. The Greenshield Officer stands between the Captain and anything with an opinion, and keeps the quarterly injury report inspiringly short. Kitted for the job with a disabler, flash, and cuffs rather than anything lethal, mind-shielded against persuasion, and cleared into the command corridors the rest of the crew never see.

- Security's discipline, pointed at exactly one job: the people at the top staying alive.
Standing NoteRequires eight hours in Security and an hour in Command. The Board does not entrust leadership to strangers.
The NanoTrasen Representative
PSN-NTRSolreign Corporate — Guest Liaison
Our esteemed competitor has sent a liaison. Smile, accept the business card, and count the silverware when they leave. Arrives in a fine suit with a briefcase and a rival-megacorp PDA, is announced to the whole crew the moment they step aboard, and is to be extended every courtesy short of door codes.

- A rival megacorp's envoy, announced station-wide on arrival. Everyone knows. No one is sure why they're here.
Standing NoteRequires four hours logged before the company will let you play the competition. Door codes remain non-negotiable.
This is the distinctive shortlist, not the full manifest — every standard Space Station 14 department is aboard too, from the Chief Medical Officer down to the clown. New Assets usually start on an entry-level track and climb from there, with rank and titles kept in the Season Ledger.
