Player-facing highlights

Full release changelog

This release moves SOLREIGN from “many systems aboard” to “the station actually uses them.” It combines a major SOLREIGN gameplay integration, a large Space Station 14 upstream synchronization, an engine upgrade, seven-map content wiring, a broad production activation, and a post-release rendering repair.

Release scale

An enabled system is not guaranteed to fire every shift. Population, job, station condition, map, cooldown, event scheduling, consent, and external service requirements still determine when a feature becomes visible.

Activation does not mean unrestricted generation. Director and Oracle actions continue to pass through their existing allowlists, moderation boundaries, game-side gates, and deterministic fallbacks.

Recreation, ghosts, and side activities

Seven-map wiring

The community-fixture pass updated:

Each rotation map now has deterministic placements for:

The placement pipeline validates expected map state instead of blindly inserting content.

Additional map work in the release includes:

The Library and Noticeboard fixtures are physically present, but player-authored persistent writing remains disabled.

Upstream Space Station 14 synchronization

The release incorporates 267 upstream commits. Notable player-facing changes called out in the release composition include:

The upstream synchronization also carries many smaller content, UI, balance, mapping, localization, and bug-fix changes.

Engine, launcher, and release infrastructure

Production stabilization

The initial activation exposed a network-parity defect in two server-only components. Players could join and hear the station, but the world viewport was black.

The stabilization release:

Active SOLREIGN feature switches

All 55 approved SOLREIGN feature flags are active. The detailed, player-facing release sections above describe what that activation means in play without publishing internal configuration names.

Deliberately deferred

The result is the broadest integrated SOLREIGN release so far: newcomers have a path into the station, ordinary work connects to persistent systems, the maps carry the community fixtures, PROVIDENCE reacts, the world has more feedback, and the station now remembers substantially more of what its crew does.
